Sammasan’s bright and colourfully adorned rooms are spread over four levels to optimise the sea views.  Stepping into the villa from the covered car port, steps take you down to the large central living and dining area, an open room with sunlight pouring through the wall of glass across the front.

The living room’s soft leather sofa suite makes it an inviting space to curl up with a book – with plenty of books for kids and adults to select from the nearby bookshelves if you’ve forgotten to bring your own.  The zinc-topped table with eight lemon yellow chairs give the dining room a celebratory atmosphere, and with its cabinets brimming with eye-catching art pieces it provides a colourful contrast to the streamline white kitchen just behind it.  The kitchen – where the villa chef prepares all meals – is well stocked with high-quality appliances and crockery, all seamlessly hidden away behind shiny white panels and cupboard doors.  A breakfast bar along the front offers more seating for four.

Glass panel doors fold open to connect the living-dining room to the pool terrace, a chic and comfortable area with a furnished sala and sun lounger-lined deck forming an L-shape around the 8.5m infinity pool.

Upstairs is the master suite, a large stylish room taking up the whole top floor, perfect for couples seeking a private retreat.  Its king-sized four-poster bed is set under a vaulted roof, with a chaise longue and sturdy wooden desk in the corner.  The master suite’s spacious furnished terrace offers the best sea views while the bright ensuite bathroom is a lavish space with floor-to-ceiling windows, a jacuzzi bathtub, twin vanity sets and a rainfall shower.

The two guest bedrooms, found on the bottom floor down a grandly chandeliered corridor, are mirror images with different colour schemes.  In the blue room are twin beds with a rollout extra bed and fun animal prints on the walls – this is an ideal room for the kids.  The red room has a queen-sized bed and fitted wardrobe.  Both bedrooms have balconies and ensuite bathrooms with bright-hued tile vanity sets and showers.

Tucked away at the back of the villa half way between the living area and the downstairs bedrooms is a very comfortable media room decorated in soothing greys and greens, with a TV and DVD player and an attached shower room.  This room can be converted into a bedroom to accommodate an extra guest.
