Wang Nam Jai’s collection of air-conditioned pavilions and open terraces are layered over the hillside offering optimal sea views and an appealing balance of shared and private spaces. Asian and European art and sculptures, a koi pond and water features running alongside the villa’s grand entrance staircase, enhance the tranquillity of the lush headland setting overlooking the bay. Frangipani and other tropical trees and plants add dashes of colour and exotic scents.

Along the front of the villa’s wide upper level terrace is an outdoor lounge suite and a comfortable sala for massages and shaded rest. At the far corner of this terrace is the living room pavilion, where two sets of sofas offering inviting spots to relax under a vaulted wooden ceiling. Large glass doors slide away completely for those who wish to enjoy the sea breezes along with the views. To the rear of the terrace sits a two-floor pavilion, where a dining room with seating for eight and modern kitchen occupies the ground floor, topped by the exquisite king-bedded master suite with its own private balcony and a giant terrazzo bathtub in its ensuite bathroom.

Below, on another wide terrace is the sparkling 22m pool, several pairs of comfy sun loungers, table tennis, a sofa suite and a covered barbecue area with a table for eight. Just steps away from the pool is the media room, another ultra relaxing spot with a home theatre and foosball table, as well as glass walls to show off the amazing views across the bay.

A little stroll along a boardwalk shaded by tropical trees takes you to the three similarly styled and sized guest bedrooms, all with sea views from their balconies, king-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms. Steps lead up again to the fitness pavilion, a bright room with spectacular views, free weights and yoga mats, plus a sound system connected to the media room. It’s fine place to hide away and relax as well as for workouts and yoga sessions.
