I need more info
If you require any further information, then just ask! Because we are such intrepid, villa aficionados and every property on this site has been personally visited by our staff, chances are we'll know the answer and will be back to you quicker than you can say "I love the Villa Guide" . (well, we do try to respond the same day).
In the unlikely situation we don't know the answer we will do everything to find it out, however please bear with us, this may not be as speedy, as not everyone works at our insatiable pace.
Villa Cemara
Imagine flinging open the curtains in the morning to the fresh sea air and a stunning sea vista. Picture slipping through your garden gate onto a carpet of golden sand that shelves gently towards the sea, then returning for a dip in your private beachfront pool while staff prepare a sumptuous breakfast for you in the breezy open-sided living pavilion. And that’s just the start of the day! It’s hard to find a villa that is actually as close to the beach as Villa Cemara; not only is it ‘absolute beachfront’, to use real estate parlance, it enjoys a staggering 60-metre frontage all to itself. The view is glorious – across a sweep of golden sand towards the sparking sea stretching toward the rugged outline of Nusa Penida shimmering on the horizon. Equally appealing is the multi-pavilion design conceived by famed Balinese architect Popo Danes, with generous space and liberal use of local materials such as alang-alang thatch,
Benkirai and Merbau wood, Palimanan stone, granite and terrazzo – plus a lavish sprinkling of Indonesian art, artefacts and Dutch-style furniture. With the five bedrooms spread across three separate pavilions, everyone gets to enjoy a welcome level of privacy that’s hard to match in a standard all-under-one-roof villa. So a group of friends would be very comfortable staying here, as would a large family or two families holidaying together. Kids will love building sandcastles and splashing around in the shallow lagoon-like waters – the safest, family-friendly swimming beach in Bali. Older kids will make a beeline to the sea-sports centre a few moments south for a kite-surfing lesson or jet-ski ride. And guests of all ages will enjoy relaxing by the pool or socialising in the enormous open-sided living pavilion while the villa’s lovely staff remain discreetly on hand ready to serve an ice-cold Bintang, organise a massage, or prepare a casual barbecue or candlelit dinner.
