I need more info
If you require any further information, then just ask! Because we are such intrepid, villa aficionados and every property on this site has been personally visited by our staff, chances are we'll know the answer and will be back to you quicker than you can say "I love the Villa Guide" . (well, we do try to respond the same day).
In the unlikely situation we don't know the answer we will do everything to find it out, however please bear with us, this may not be as speedy, as not everyone works at our insatiable pace.
Sira Beach House
The spectacular coast road that takes you past sweeping bays and dramatic headlands to the gates of Sira Beach House is a fitting introduction to beautiful unspoiled Lombok. Without even leaving the grounds of this idyllic beachfront property, guests will find themselves immersed in an experience that teaches more about the island’s fascinating culture than one would ever think possible from a luxury villa holiday. From the thatched roofs and locally-quarried stone, right down to the villa’s tableware, textiles, furniture and fabrics, almost everything at Sira Beach House is locally produced; even the chef’s red hot chilli peppers – from which Lombok takes its name – are grown in the villa’s organic vegetable garden. And it doesn’t stop there. For a deeper foray into Sasak life (the ethnic group to which the majority of Lombok’s population belongs), villa staff will take you to meet the women artisans who create Lombok’s famed pottery and textiles.
The owners of the
villa have taken great care not only to showcase Lombok’s culture but also to preserve the environment. As much as possible of the villa’s six acres of mature coconut grove have been retained, with buildings carefully positioned between the trees; water is solar heated and wastewater recycled for the garden. The ultimate joy is a large but very discreet team of gentle Sasak staff who are proud to give guests a truly memorable holiday, with service from the heart. Among this team is a full-time chef who will prepare divine local and international meals using the fresh island produce. Food is charged at US$40 a day per adult (16 years+) and US$25 per child - discounted appropriately if some meals are eaten out. Breakfast is included in the rate.
Arranged in the style of a traditional Sasak village, the six bedrooms, dining hall and splendid living pavilion at Sira Beach House are supported by all the recreational facilities – home theatre, large saltwater swimming pool, private tennis court, croquet, table tennis, Zodiac motorboat, bicycles, car and driver – that guests could ever wish for. This perfect tropical island escape is completed by spectacular views of Mount Rinjani volcano, the three gem-like Gili islands just offshore, and a ribbon of white-sand beach, where local fishermen cast their nets at dusk.
