The villa has an aura of romance. An oasis of tranquillity.
We found Villa Simona to be a delightful villa in a lovely peaceful location. Clearly the owner is as passionate about his villa as he is about his wife to whom the villa was a gift. The level of detail and finish throughout the property is excellent. Equally passionate is the villa manager, Nyoman. A little flamboyant maybe, but very very keen to make sure his guests have a good stay. He speaks excellent English which makes up for the lack of English from one or two of the other staff. The food we were served was nicely presented in the open sided living/dining room which is a great place to survey the villa. The pool is a delight and the sunken garden in front would be a great place for party or BBQ. The bedrooms are very generous and the highlight for us was the huge walled garden bathrooms of bedrooms 2 and 3 – very romantic. A great villa for parties, groups, families and weddings.

Highlights
A fabulous addition to the Villa Simona is the dedicated private spa, a unique and pretty feature. On a spit of land between two streams accessed across a bridge – the mix of massage beds, Jacuzzis, and plunge baths with a host of special oils makes for some wonderful pampering (charged extra).
Surprises
Falling mangoes! The gardens are bursting with interesting plants. The pool and deck are in the shadow of a huge mango tree which on occasion drops a fruit with a loud splash. All the rooms have TVs but some guests may be disappointed that there is no communal TV or media room.

Sumptuous spacious setting
Delightful garden bathrooms
An exquisite oasis of calm and beauty

CONs

Villa Simona is set in a very picturesque and tranquil part of Bali. The car and driver which were provided by the villa was a 'must' to get around as nothing was in walking distance. The gardens were immaculate and only steps away from your own villa were the spa facilities which we all enjoyed. The swimming pool was very deep and definitely not child friendly.
The villa manager, Nyoman, and his staff were very attentive and the food was delicious - nothing was too much trouble, including a BBQ in the beautiful grounds.
A very relaxing holiday in a gorgeous setting and you even have your own wake up call to the sound of the doves!!
