Our Review
Six years on from the original review, we enjoyed a delightful stay at Puri Nirwana. It was a pleasure to find such a quiet part of Bali’s coast completely untouched by the crowds, even in high season. The location is spectacular, and the views from the villa attention-grabbing throughout the day. We had the beach to ourselves apart from a lone fisherman, and enjoyed walking along the beach-front promenade, to Pura Masceti, one of Bali’s nine sacred directional temples. The sunrises over Cucukan Beach are sensational, and we were mesmerised by the island and mountain views. The villa is large and the staff are very friendly, full of smiles; the chef, who had worked at Ubud culinary icon Mosaic, prepared some beautifully presented meals for us. Puri Nirwana is well designed to accommodate large family groups — it is possibly the best place on Bali to bring someone with mobility issues — and the stunning spa pavilion is the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely massage. HighlightsWe loved everything about Puri Nirwana – the architecture, the interior design, the comfort, and the spa (oh, the spa!) made us feel very special indeed. SurprisesThe villa is immediately next to a large public space with access to the beach. Consequently there are a lot of people on the sand (especially on Sunday), where a small drinks stand is set up just beyond the end of the villa grounds. While this impinges on your privacy a little, we relished the opportunity to get involved with the local people. It is their village after all and some shared smiles and small talk simply adds flavour to your holiday. Note the dark sand beach has strong currents and rip tides making it unsafe for swimming, but the villa has a lovely pool for that. |

Villa Nirwana is a beautiful place. We enjoyed the villa very much. We stayed for a week and there were 14 of us We love the beautiful garden and swimming pool. Cleanliness is amazing despite a very large property. Thank you so much for helping us in the big kitchen, our laundry and welcoming us with your warm heart.

Very good villa. The best part is its staff, especially Pak Gede. He made sure that everything was superb for us. The food was delicious and service was amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

What a way to welcome the new year than to stay in Villa Puri Nirwana. We had our wedding on 4th January 2020. It is something we will never forget, it was truly an awesome experience to have the biggest day of our life at Puri Nirwana.
