Malaiwana - Villa Chan Paa

We stayed at Villa Chan Paa for nearly two weeks and it was total bliss. Travelling with our friends, it was the perfect accommodation choice where we could completely relax. I think we only went out of the villa four times, to Catch Beach Club for brunch (highly recommended), boutique shopping at Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket, and a few boat trips out to the islands. Apart from that, we had everything we needed within our villa. We could walk down to Naithon Beach in minutes. We even took a longtail boat trip one day and went snorkelling, which was spectacular.
The views from the villa are absolutely stunning. We would start the day with breakfast outside in the sala (included in the villa rate), spend a few hours lounging and cooling off in the pool, sunset cocktails on the rooftop, followed by dinner prepared by the fantastic chef, our favourite person during the stay. My friend is a vegan and nothing was too much trouble for the chef. The entire team was amazing and the Villa Manager took care of us during our stay. In fact, we hardly lifted a finger.
The villa is very private, we didn’t notice our neighbours at all, and being so high up it was really peaceful. The televisions are huge. One evening, we put on some 80s music videos and danced and sang at the top of our voices. The best part? Nobody complained!
The living space is huge with two living rooms, spacious bedrooms and even a gym, although that didn’t get used as much. As a group of adults, we all had our own space but came together when we wanted to, which worked for us all. The villa has an elevator which would be great for those with mobility issues or even kids as the only other way to get upstairs is via steps outside. All in all, we had a blast!
