The local name is Batu Mejan, this beach is great for walks but the water is best left to experienced surfers due to a strong rip. May to October (dry season) is the best time of year for waves. There’s a strip of surf and casual dining restaurants here that get packed with surfers at lunchtimes and a mixed casual crowd in the evenings.

Berawa Beach

Berawa’s rugged beach offers an exposed reef break with consistent surf. It’s not safe for swimming but you can walk or jog for miles in either direction. May to October is best for waves.

Pererenan Beach

This beach is between Echo Beach (to the south) and Seseh Beach (to the north). Come here for its wild rustic coastline and fabulous sunsets. It’s a surfing beach and not safe for swimmers.
