The Experience
On the southernmost tip of Bali, amidst the rocky splendour of the Bukit Peninsula, Villa Grand Cliff Nusa Dua hugs the contours of its cliff-side location. Constructed on three levels, the clever design ensures that all rooms, including the five bedrooms and two living rooms, have a spectacular ocean view. This extends to the villa’s glamorous bathrooms, where you can lie back in your bathtub or jacuzzi-for-two and invite the spirit and purity of a spellbinding seascape to soak into your bones. Modesty – from the curious eyes of the occasional fisherman – is maintained by the provision of one-way vision glass in the large picture windows.
The villa fuses its astonishing setting and architecture with exceptional interiors, facilities, service and privacy. Off the beaten track and within a secure private estate, it feels remote, and it is – to a certain extent. Yet it is only a short drive to many of the Bukit’s most beautiful white-sand beaches, and the shops, restaurants and family activities of Nusa Dua (7km), as well as a world-class golf course, and some of the most thrilling surf spots in Bali. A complimentary car and driver is available eight hours per day.
On the other hand, you may feel no need to go out because – with its multiple air-conditioned, semi-open-air and alfresco living, lounging and dining areas, pool, jacuzzi, and more – Villa Grand Cliff Nusa Dua has it all. Did someone say more? Indeed, descend a staircase and you’ll find more surprises: a gym, an infrared sauna, a spa where you can be massaged to the rhythm of the waves, and a large games room, comprising a bar, billiard table, and a home theatre with a karaoke facility. Even here, there is no getting away from that awe-inspiring view.
Ideal for families and groups of friends, the villa is staffed by a smiling, highly-trained team who will take care of all your requests. A professional chef will do the grocery provisioning for a small fee and prepare your meals from a very attractive suggestion menu (on guest account), all you need do is relax.

Bags of space, excellent facilities and mesmerising views – even from the bathtubs.
If you’re looking for a luxurious destination villa, with spectacular views and true sense of space, where you can escape from everything and spend time with your family or friends, then this is the villa for you. With its attentive-yet-discreet service and every recreational facility at your fingertips, a 43-inch satellite-channel TV and Blu-ray DVD player in every bedroom, three different dining areas, and an abundance of comfy spaces and places to hang out, you can be together as a group or veer off on your own. In fact, with three floors, the villa is so big that you’ll lose each other within its depths. Most of the outdoor space is taken up by the pool and the massive pool terrace, which is wonderful for big groups, but we felt that it wouldn’t be so good for kids who want to run around kicking a ball. However, teenage kids (and adults) will love the games room, the bar, the karaoke and the abundance of TVs. We certainly did!

Highlights
We loved EVERYTHING, from the jaw-dropping view and warm welcome from the lovely team of staff, to the surprises offered by each and every room and facility. Standout for us had to be the pool on the edge of the world, a bath with a view, and the games room.
Surprises
The limestone plateau and towering cliffs of the Bukit generate a lot of thermal currents, making this a popular spot for paragliders (some with motors on their backs), particularly at the weekends in Bali’s dry season. It can be fun to watch them fly overhead but a bit intrusive.

Great Villa. Been to a few years back & we didn't realize it until we're inside the alley. Thank you for the hospitality, Chef is good, Villa is Good, Facilities also Good. Can improve more the internet mobile phone signal connection. THANK YOU. Too bad the access to the beach was ruined by the big wave.
Great Staff, friendly, cleaned , ready 24 hours even at 2 AM to shoo away a lost baby crab in our bathroom.

This is the first time I and the family being here. But I believe I will come back! All people here are very nice. I can see their smile face every day. When I need help, they will be right there. It is really the feeling of staying with family. The foods here are so impressive. My children love the fried rice, fried noodles and all BBQ. We love the seafood. Every dish is so GOOD, Specially, it is Chines New Year. We celebrate the festival here. We enjoyed every day, every hour, and every minutes. WOW!! What an amazing find! We feel so fortunate to have selected Grand Cliff Nusa Dua for our holiday in Bali. The accommodation was perfectly configured for our group of extended family. It was well maintained, clean and luxuriously appointed. The views are simply breathtaking and at times made us reluctant to leave the villa! The staff here are so friendly and accommodating and positively enhanced our whole experience. The CHEF here deserves a special mention. He worked tirelessly to provide delicious meals for our group of 10, including special requests for meals that were not include on the menu. All in all , a wonderful holiday with many great memories to take a way. Thank you.

This paradise makes you calm and happy. The view is unbelievably beautiful. I could sit all day long and look at the ocean and people who fly above your head. You feel the freedom. I'll never forget this place and people in the villa.

When four children aged 17,14,13 and 9 say they didn't want to go out on daytrip but they wanted to stay at the villa to enjoy the place, you know the villa is SPECIAL. This villa has definitely met our expectations. It is exactly as seen as website, the service staff are friendly and attentive. Special call out to Darma who took good care of us and he's forever with a kind smile. The kids are already requesting that we will back again next year and we have already started discussing possible dates. Highly recommend to friends and family.

The staff are all very kind. The scenery is also wonderful and house is very tidy. The chefs meal was very delicious and I spent every day without leaving the villa (I didn't want to go out). It's a great place. We would love to come back again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for six days and it was just fabulous. The villa is beautiful, comfy and has very nice facilities. The views are breathtaking and every morning I am at the bale just enjoying the view and listening to the birds and the waves - definitely my favourite spot. The infinity pool was so refreshing, the staff are so friendly and very helpful. Thanks to Pak Made, Al, Darma, kadek, Wayan and the other staff. The food cooked by chef Sani was delicious. Loved everything and cannot recommend enough, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We could not have had a better experience this week. It was truly AMAZING. From the moment we arrived, nothing was to much trouble for the staff and they not only accommodated our every needs, they went over and above. Particularly Made who took very good care of Ollie when he didn't feel well and Al who was an absolute gem. Every staff member was so friendly and lovely and the villa was incredible. Location
If you look at a map of Bali, you’ll see a lemon-shaped extension that dangles like a pendant upon a chain at the southernmost tip of the island. This is the limestone tableland known as the Bukit Peninsula, and its south coast is home to Grand Cliff Nusa Dua. One of nine villas on The Asmara Estate, Grand Cliff Nusa Dua is located just 20 metres above a honey-coloured beach. The sea is ringed by a coral reef so it is safe for swimming at high tide and offers hours of fun at low tide for the dedicated reef-comber. The villa is pretty isolated with nothing of commercial interest within the immediate vicinity apart from a small local store in the nearby sleepy village. Slightly further afield, accessible in the villa’s car, is a multitude of five-star resorts, restaurants and shopping facilities at the upscale tourist enclave of Nusa Dua, while water-sports abound at Tanjung Benoa (10km). The Bukit is also home to two championship golf courses (5km & 14km).

About Nusa Dua

Waterblow is one of our favourite things to do in Nusa Dua – but give it a miss if you do not like getting your hair wet. A beautiful natural rock formation, it does exactly what it says on the tin by creating a giant water blow the moment the waves hit the rocks.
You are only ever a short drive away from the rest of the Bukit Peninsula and Uluwatu, home to the world famous Uluwatu temple and some of the best surfing spots in Bali. Meanwhile, Seminyak - the island’s most sophisticated and vibrant area when it comes to shopping, cuisine, and night life - is a forty-minute drive away.

About Bali

Rooms
Entering the villa on the middle level, you’ll find an expansive living room integrating a sunny breakfast table, a formal dining table, and a well-equipped guest kitchen, behind which is a professional service kitchen. The living area is furnished with a huge sofa, and a 65-inch international-channel TV. The provision of Wifi and an iPad allows access to Spotify and a world of music that can be played through indoor and poolside speakers. Glass doors can be closed for air-conditioned comfort or opened to sea breezes.
Also on this level is a twin bedroom and ensuite bathroom fitted with a rain shower. Outside is a true infinity swimming pool, where the 16-metre pool edge runs parallel with the horizon, merging with the blue waters of the sea. Punctuated with frangipani trees, and flanked by paved pathways and small areas of grass, a broad timber deck wraps around three sides of the pool, completed with a jacuzzi, a large bale relaxation pavilion and an alfresco living/dining area furnished with an all-weather sofa and chairs, another dining table and a gas barbecue. The upper floor of the villa is dominated by a huge atrium-like living space, capped with a pitched glass roof that channels and diffuses the bright sunlight. Here, a pair of elevated built-in daybeds double as extra beds (at extra cost). Two more bedrooms are situated on this level with two more on the lowest floor. All four of these generously sized rooms are furnished with king beds, with a four-poster in the Honeymoon Suite. Each has an ensuite bathroom fitted with a monsoon shower and an oversized tub (with a jacuzzi tub in the Honeymoon Suite).
The lower floor is also home to a fabulous games room, equipped with a billiard table and a bar. A mirrored wall duplicates the magnificent ocean panorama, while bar tables and chairs extend onto an open-air balcony. The games room also comprises a cosy home theatre, equipped with a 65-inch international-channel TV, surround sound, karaoke and Playstation 4. More luxurious facilities, including a wood-panelled spa room with two massage beds, an infrared sauna and a well-equipped gym, complete this floor.
